Location

The Otentic Lodge is situated on the banks of Grand River of the island which is 40 kms. The River throws itself in the crystalline lagoon not very far from L’ile aux cerfs and L’ilot Mangenie.

The historical sites such as the Ile au Phare and Ile de la Passe. The Nature reserves, Ile aux Aigrettes, La Vallee de Ferney and le Domaine de L’Etoile are not very far from the lodge.

Those places of interest will amaze you with their fauna and flora and the variety of the endemic species vertebrates or invertebrates. By visiting the picturesque, neighbouring villages such Mahebourg and Trou D’eau Douce, you will surely enjoy the hospitality of the local inhabitants, feel the human warmth and service with a welcome smile on their face.
