Eco tents and lodge

Otentic Eco tents is situated on the southeast coast of Mauritius, in the small village of Deux frères. It is perched on the edge of the longest river in Mauritius, Grand River South East .

It is the ideal place for a break in nature. You will feel rejuvenated in its natural and eco environment. Real “Otentic” the accommodation has been built with the objective to have the least possible environmental impact: using solar water heaters, harvest rainwater, used wood and recycled materials as well as they generate their own energy through solar panels.

Cut out from the hustle and bustle of everyday-life and completely relax in the 12 safari tents and 2 wooden chalets. The tents and chalets are surrounded by a lush palm tree garden; hence the ideal place for a break in nature to relax after a week of work or people on holidays or after a day of activities.
Each Eco friendly tents has its own bathroom and toilet, mounted on wooden decks it measures 50 square meters (10 x5m) and can accommodate a family of 2 adults and 3 children.

The 2 wooden chalets have a shaded terrace. They both have two bedrooms and one bathroom each and can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children.

The pool-side restaurant serves a continental breakfast. Fresh local products such as natural juices homemade yogurt will help you to kick start your day. The restaurant gives a river view, while guests enjoy a delicious local « Creole » cuisine.
